Viet Ha is the founder of Dr. Max, who has more than 30 years working primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets, Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT).
With his unrivaled expertise and experience from market-leading companies and numerous high-profile megaprojects, Ha possesses a profound understanding of the sophisticated Vietnam’s evolving market as well as regulatory landscape. His insights into market trends, investment strategies and regulatory framework enable clients to make critical informed decisions and capitalize on opportunities within the industries. Additionally, Ha’s exceptional negotiation skills are regularly deployed on behalf of clients in engagements with regulatory agencies and large-scale Vietnamese State-owned groups, including the Ministry of Information and Communication, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Transport.

Ha holds a Master of Laws (LLM) at the School of Law,  Niigata University (Japan), a Bachelor of Law degree in commercial law from Hanoi Law University and Bachelor of Science degree in information and communications from Hanoi Technology University. Before establishing Dr. Max, Ha is Founding Partner and Co-Head of Corporate and M&A and Head of Telecoms, Media and Technology (TMT) of Lexcomm, based in Hanoi with more than 30 years of legal practice.

With nearly a decade of experience in M&A and merger control across diverse sectors, Thu Uyen brings a unique blend of legal expertise and market knowledge to her clients. She has a proven track record of conducting market share calculations, market research, and advising on economic concentration notifications and competition issues with the National Competition Commission (Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam).

Thu Uyen’s ability to combine legal acumen with a deep understanding of the diverse Vietnamese market has enabled her to successfully navigate complex M&A transactions in sectors ranging from agricultural products and petrochemicals to plastics, ICT, and other specialized products requiring unique market share calculation techniques to get the deals done. Her experience ensures clients receive comprehensive and strategic guidance throughout the merger control process.

Uyen holds a Bachelor of Law degree in commercial law from Hanoi Law University. Uyen has served as senior associate at DR.MAX’s co-system affiliates law firm – Lexcomm Vietnam LLC.

Hang is a Business Development Manager at Dr. Max, responsible for spearheading business development and marketing initiatives to enhance the company’s market presence and client engagement. Bringing her 20 years of experience and an extensive grasp of Vietnam’s business environment and relevant industry best practices, Hang joins the team with dedication to further strengthening our commitment to providing exceptional research solutions to clients.

Hang holds an MBA from the National Economics University (NEU) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from the Institute for International Relations (currently known as the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam).
